MM&A’s Unmanned Drone Services Benefits

MMA’s drone services are unique in the sense that surveys are tailored to each client's specific requirements…….. from topographic mapping, aerial surveys to pit progress updates, drone mapping can create a more accurate illustration than conventional style surveys. Using senseFly eBee fixed-winged drones, MMA can capture high-resolution aerial photos that can be orthorectified and stitched together to form a high-resolution orthomosaic image of an area of interest.

Hydrogeology and the Mining Lifecycle

To the layperson, “Hydrogeology” is defined as a branch of geology concerned with the occurrence, use, and functions of surface water and groundwater. At Marshall Miller & Associates, hydrogeology means much more than that. To gauge the environmental impact that a mining enterprise will have on water tables and supplies, we apply hydrogeology science, technology and best practices beginning at the planning phase to anticipate effects on water resources through the environmental reclamation phase of a mine’s closure.

Reserve Analysis Based on National and International Reporting Standards.

When assessing economically recoverable reserves, operating companies, mineral owners and investors are faced with a multitude of reporting standards.  Marshall Miller and Associates dedicates a team of mining engineers, geologists, hydrologists and experts from related disciplines to determine recoverable reserves using the full range of international standards that include JORC, NI 43-101, (CRIRSCO, AIM), and the U.S. SEC Industry Guide 7.  Measured, indicated and inferred resources and proven and probable reserves are assessed by MM&A’s team of mining experts.  MM&A also advises clients as to which particular reporting standards should be considered according to mineral deposit type, geographic location, and potential investors.
